New Year, New You MOTD and Review Part II

Hello to my New Year Loves,

I first want to start off by saying Happy New Years to everyone. Hope everyone had a lovely night and not too hungover. 😀 One of my bigger resolutions came in the mail yesterday. A VANITY TABLE!! I can’t wait to start putting it together and have a little more organization in my life! Because Lord knows I need it. 😒

For my New Year, New You look Part II look,  I wanted to change it up and go achromatic. Everyone knows I love the gold tones but I been itching to try one of my Black Friday purchases of one of my Gerard Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks in Gravity.

On the Gerard website it is described as “A planetary grey that reminds us of the outer limits space. A super eye-catching color with cool tones that will keep you grounded.” These liquid lippies retail for $20 USD. That is the normal going price for high end liquid lipsticks but you can order in bundles for a discounted rate. For my NYE MOTD,  I went with a 50 shades of gray smokey eye paired with silver glitter,double wings, under eye wings, and Gravity lip color. I must admit, I was a little scared since I own every shade you can think of in lipstick, butttttttttttttttttttttt not gray. The best thing about it is that I didn’t feel I needed a lip liner for this.

REVIEW:

I really enjoyed the Gerard Liquid Lipstick. I found it to be the most comfortable hydrating wear instead of it being so dry like how we expect all liquid lipsticks to come out. I prefer this than the Lime Crime Velveteens. Wear time I would give it about at least….. over six hours including eating and barrrrrrely having to touch up. Doesn’t flake off on the teeth or anything like that when wear time goes down. Just a simple touch up and you are fine. The formula they use is very hydrating hence why they call it the Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipstick. If you follow @kimthainguyen on instagram she lists this as her favorite liquid lipstick brand. I highly recommend them and hope they put out more shades because I will love to purchase more.
